I am currently a pretraining research lead at OpenAI. Prior to that, I grew up in San Diego and attended undergrad at Harvard; there, I pursued a joint major in Computer Science and Mathematics alongside a minor in English. On campus, I was a machine learning researcher at Harvard's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where I had the great fortune of being advised by Seth Neel, David Parkes, and Cynthia Dwork. I also enjoyed teaching classes for the Computer Science and Statistics departments!
In my free time, I read, write, summit mountains, and cook new dishes. I also build personal knowledge management systems in Obsidian, (lightly) pursue a quantified self, and enjoy perusing literature in any domain.
